The Outpost
The Outpost is an RV park near Oologah Lake, Oklahoma, offering 65 thoughtfully kept spaces. We’re conveniently located near the Will Rogers Trails— well known for horseback riding and hiking— just outside Claremore and a short drive from Owasso.

We are currently working on adding a new office, along with laundry facilities, and separate men’s and women’s restrooms and showers.
Our History
What sets The Outpost apart is its history. For nearly five decades, it has quietly served travelers along Highway 88, earning a reputation for consistency, comfort, and genuine hospitality. No crowds, no chaos- just a comfortable place to settle in and feel at home.
Now under new ownership, we’re caring for the property with thoughtful intention – preserving its character while carefully renewing and refining each space to make every stay comfortable and welcoming. We believe a place to stay should feel less like a stop along the road and more like somewhere you belong.
